Additional features and tips

The indicated adhesive force can be reached when the load on the carabiner is vertical. If you attach the magnet to a wall, however, the maximum adhesive force is only approx. 8 kg (shear direction).

We at supermagnete used these carabiner magnets ourselves when we had to mount our banner for a concert sponsoring. The old factory building had many iron beams, which were the perfect adhesive base for the magnets. The banner stayed in place perfectly and could be quickly removed after the concerts.
